Introduction

Propranolol + Flunarizine is a powerful combination therapy used in the prevention and treatment of migraine. Migraine is a neurological condition characterized by severe throbbing or pulsing pain, typically on one side of the head, often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, numbness, sensitivity to light and sound, and speech difficulties.

Mechanism of Action

Propranolol: A beta-blocker with anxiolytic, anti-arrhythmic, and antihypertensive properties. It reduces brain blood flow, inhibits cortical spreading depression, and controls abnormal electrical activity responsible for migraine symptoms.
